The Japanese Studies Society at the University of Western Australia has a charter of fostering the exchange of culture, language, and information among Japanese and local students in Western Australia. Established in 1975, JSS has a history spanning more than 40 years, the society has become a respected and vital medium for academic, social, and professional interaction on campus, and in the community at large.
